Light Me Up is a 93k word humorous contemporary romance with a moderate heat level. It's the second in a series of standalone novels. While it's not necessary to read the preceding book, By Your Side, there are recurring characters. The third book, Tell Them Lies, will release in the fall of 2015.

Rachel is a "mega negative Nellie" of a woman.Tate is a caring and loving man.
There is no chemistry between these two.
I really had high hopes for this story.
I didn't finish this book because I just couldn't take Rachel's negativity anymore.
Some one slap this woman. She has everything anyone could possibly want handed to her on a silver platter and the loving care of a great man and she feels trapped and can only think of herself? Man, this woman needs to seek help.
Even if this gets better later in the book, her attitude has left such a foul taste that I just don't care about her.
Tate deserves far better then Rachel and her issues.

I loved this book! Its a light, fun, easy to read romance. I am in love with karla Sorensens writing. She is up there with Nora Roberts as far as romance novels go!
I loved this story! Karla really nailed this! I was on the edge if my seat the whole time. What a beautiful ending.
A good but frustrating love story, didn't realize their love until (90%) of the book was completed
The characters were great... I enjoyed the storyline and the cathartic tears that happened while reading this book. Looking forward to Book 3!
I've found a new favorite author. I love her characters, especially the men. I'm sick to death reading about manwhores. These characters are like real people, living everyday normal lives. A great read!
I wasn't expecting this story line, which made me love the unexpected twist even more. This book made me cry in all the best ways, melted my heart, and gave me all the warm and fuzzies a great love story should. Can't wait for to read the next book!
What a great story!! 1 sassy woman + 1 best friend's brother + 1 drunken hook-up = 1 awesome book!!! Enjoyed this book from beginning to end...and I could only put it down long enough to do the things that were absolutely necessary. Cute story of what happens when you're down on luck and throw caution to the wind for one night with a guy you've been crushing on (secretly) for years. This is the first book I have read by Karla Sorensen...and now I will definitely be checking out more!!
