This is the first time I've read anything from either author and I will say, my loss...big time. I've been lucky to have read two books in a couple of days of each other, both unbelievably, laugh out loud funny many, many times. I don't even know where to begin with this one. First, I recommend this to anyone who is okay with crass language a lot and explicit and vulgar sex, if you're not okay with it then it's your loss because this is that funny and that's part of what makes this so good and appealing, thirsty for Andie and Roman's story after this incredible, sexy read on Ram and Dani. No spoilers here.Ramsey, dear God the man is hot, sweet, beyond sexy, humble...his mess ups are because of embarrassment and I can honestly say I don't blame him. The way he handled the fall out of him not disclosing some of his past? Humble, broken, devastation, vulnerable, emotional...everything every women would like their man to be in that situation as well as others. He wasn't afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve and that's why I love him so much. His love for his dad, their relationship, how he handled it, just precious and I could relate because that's how I was with my dad. His love for his mom, sister Reagan and Roman jumped right out of the pages and straight into your heart. Really, the entire family was so supportive of one another, loved each other, fiercely and powerfully. Genius of these authors, pure genius.
Dani, oh, how I love Dani from how she was first introduced with no backbone, incapable of saying no. I loved how the authors allowed us to watch her grow into standing up for herself after much advice from Ram and Andie. Her quirkiness is so cute, endearing, bittersweet at times and well, just Dani, imperfectly perfect. Honestly, read it and you'll see there's nothing to not love about Dani. If someone finds fault, shame on them because she is a gorgeous, pure, honest, genuine and humble individual, intelligently and skillfully written about, again, genius of these two authors.
Andie, oh my God, I wish I had a friend that funny! She killed it, her mouth, humor, loyalty and actions made this book a phenomenal crazy read. Tough, rough and ready to come to blows at any time, any place, any where and at anyone. Her and Roman, her actions with him, their wicked, crass banter some of the best I've ever read. Lots and lots of laugh out loud moments. I literally, was reading in bed last night at 2 a.m. while my husband was sleeping I was giggling so loud with tears pouring from my eyes hoping I wouldn't wake him. Yes, their comments, the back and forth between them is that funny, that good.
Roman, Big, moody and then suddenly his slick, crass personality comes out in bright, vibrant rainbow colors. Him and Andie, the stuff she did and said to him, so, so off the charts funny. I refuse to give any spoilers here, just read it to see what I mean, please. You won't be sorry, I promise. I usually don't start reading a series anymore unless all the books are out but I'm so happy I took a chance on this one. I can't wait for Roman and Andie's book... explosive, I'm sure the fireworks will be much, much more than the fourth of July! I can't wait to laugh that much again. I will be re-reading this over and over again.
The one liners here, some of the best I've ever read, just to name a few - Kylie Scott (Stage Dive Series, Malcolm Ericson drummer), Max Monroe (another duo author series Tapping the Billionaire) and right before this book Egomaniac by Vi Keeland. Text 2 Lovers and Egomaniac, both books are phenomenal, home runs, touch downs, blow it out of the park worthy. I only leave reviews if either the book is that great, I really dislike it or am disturbed by it; exceptions are only if an author I'm very familiar with asks for an opinion either way.
Cliffhanger, no, just informing there's Andie and Roman's book releasing next. Sex, yes, hot and steamy, too. Cheating, nope. Story, incredible. Cursing, you betcha and totally necessary, causing uncontrollable laugh out loud moments. If this offends you, this isn't the book for you, but to repeat myself you're missing out. Big time.

The wrong number text romance isn’t a new concept, but what works here is the distinct voice and characterization of Dani and Ram, each solely written by one of author duo blending seamlessly, and the ‘normal’ – there’s no billionaire here waiting to swoop in and save the damsel. Ram’s slightly-alpha with a dash of dark undertones and charm balanced with Dani’s sweet people-pleaser naivety is clearly portrayed – and they could be me or you. They have normal struggles and lives and they live their love story because of an ‘opsie’ moment. They’re both at a point in their lives where something has to change and they know it – even if they don’t want to admit it. They inspire and encourage growth in each other while we watch them fall in love.

Snarky wit, bawdy humor and a sweet love story, Text 2 Lovers allows Ms. Webster and Ms. Hollyfield to show us what they do with the ‘mistaken text debacle’ – make us hope, laugh and ultimately root for this couple to overcome their issues, to live life in love – their happily ever after. The side story with Roman, the big brother, and Andie, the overprotective BFF, rounds out the book and sets up future story lines between the secondary characters – and I’m looking forward to their story. In your face funny, witty, a little bold; definitely sweet with just a little sour you might just think twice the next time you pick up your phone and <press enter>.
